Wtflol1
How come the list of top 25 endorsed recently added files in the last 1 days, shows no files added in the last 1 day? I want to sort out the best new mods without having to look through every single recently added file, and what I see is not one damn file that was added as recently as one day ago. Some were even added in december, like SkyUI. In fact, if I choose to display files added in past 10 or 59 days, the difference is minimal. I can pleas has explane? ThrowingTracks
Umm, well, lets see.. It matters not when a file was added, it may be that there is a 6 month old file that just happened to get updated, (as modders do) and get a lot of endorsments that day, as "endorsments" was the question that was asked. As for why there were none listed, there may be a number of reasons for that, for instance the time of day you checked, new lists are generated from 0001hrs (24hr clock) untill 2359hrs that same day, i guess time zones will come into that as well, it may just be that there were no new files at that curent time. It may be that there are new files but none have been endorsed, i think you get the picture. The reason there might not be much difference in the time scale that you choose to search between the different mods may simply be due to the fact that some mods are far, far more popular than others and so continue to get the endorsments and so keeps them on top so to speak. hope that helps
Artisanix
How those Top XXX lists work now makes them completely useless. As you see on each of them mostly the same mods but sorted differently. All interesting plugins released recently have no any chances to make their ways to those lists. As ThrowingTracks mentioned any updates are registered as well. So, let's say that one of the authors who created very popular mod with tens of thousands of downloads decided to upload a very small patch for his/her mod - and bum! It goes to the list and "steals" one of the entries from any recently released mods. If Dark0ne doesn't decide to remove updated files from the equation then those lists are just pointless to look at...
Wtflol1
@ThrowingTracks Like you said, it doesn't matter when a file was added, and that was what I pointed out also. My point is that judging from the title "list of top 25 endorsed recently added files" it should matter when a file was added. And if that doesn't matter, that list is pointless, as Artisanix pointed out. There are other lists for displaying the most endorsed files of all time. The problem is that recent mods that deserve attention are difficult to for users to locate because they are overshadowed by the trusty old mods. By the way: If the lists operate based on when files were last updated, how come many of the "recently added files" in the last 1 or 10 days, in fact were updated as far back as a month ago? Artisanix
Well, I thought that lists are based on files, but it seems I was wrong. It may look like they are based on any update to the mod's entry. So even when the author of popular mod changes one letter in the description it has a chance to be on the list. Though still, what SkyUI does on the 6th place in the list of Most endorsed recently added files with filter set to 1 day, while it has been updated at 15:11, 9 April 2012 ? Did I miss something and time stopped to run couple of days ago? o_OAnyway, the scripts behind those lists are completely... wrong (and here it's possible to use some "better" words to address them ;p) Edited April 12, 2012 by Artisanix

I can't figure out how it is supposed to work either. Maybe it even takes the date of the most recent comments into account? And even then - not in the order of the most endorsed files. Either way, the list is an abomination and a scourge for new and promising mods on the nexus. Many times cursed be the list of the "top 25 recently added files"...
