reapersintent
I am working on my first mod right now, still trying to work out on paper the scripting I am going to use. My question is whether or not it is possible to install skyrim again on my second hard drive so I can have a completely vanilla skyrim for testing mods that I develope, so I can avoid having to activate and deactivate the 100+ mods I have active right now. Thanks in advance for your advice.
scrivener07
I have no idea if this will work but you can try making two copies of your data folder. Name one "data" and the other "disable.data". To swap your active data folder just switch which one has disable. in front if it. Not sure how plugins.txt will feel about that though. I know the same trick works on your game save folder which you will probably want to do anyway.
MadWizard25
Im curious about this as well for the same reason. It was easy to do with oblivion, but with skyrim tied to steam i think it will be hard if not impossible. Folder location and details are very important to steam, so just copying skyrim folder to a new location probs wont work. But hey, if it does, let us know :)
