3840x2160 TV support?

Dear people,

Can anyone please help me out with the following problem I am dealing with, because I have lost all hope.

I have a good PC, which is capable of running a lot of games.

I used to have a TV which had a resolution of 1920x1080. Whenever I felt like playing games in bed, I used to hook up my 10-meter-long HDMI cable, and play out of bed. (my TV is in front of my bed)

Due the fact that the resolution was ''kinda'' supported, I didn't face any problems.

Now that I have a new 4K UHD HDR tv with a resolution of 3840x2160, I am dealing with some tremendous issues.

I got the game to work in full screen now, by editing the Skyrim documents in mygames, and manually change the resolution.

However, when playing Fallout 4 or Skyrim or ANY game that scales. I am experiencing a lot of FPS drops, V sync problems and lag.

I tried to install a lot of mods and did a lot of changes, but I don't know what to do anymore.

Can anyone perhaps give me some tips or walk me through a fix?

To sum it up: games work perfectly on my PC monitor, but when hooking it up to 3840x2160 it goes bananas.

I really want to play Fallout and Skyrim again.

Thanks!

What Video Card are you using.ÃÂ ÃÂ

I ask 'cause if the Video Card does not support UHD, you will probably have issues when connected to a UHD monitor/TV.

I'm using same kind of TV as a Monitor (maaybe exactly same?) And My games are running sweet

And where the heck did you get 10 M long HDMI cable??!! I only found 5 M longs max..

Except my Tv is also 4K might notice. I got it running without doing much of anything special?

Might be your Video card/driver like you suggested
