nNaver
I know this is kinda weird, but I like to play a young male character and I use the female model.I've taken all the steps to make my character appear male (animation, appearance, outfits, lower female voice) but I'm still refereed to by NPCs as female. Anyone know of a way I could just make them refer to my character as male, whilst using the female player?
McclaudEagle
Only way I can think of that doesn't involve altering the character meshes and textures, would be to go through every single piece of dialogue that is gender specific and firstly, remove the gender conditions, and then remove the female dialogue options from the NPC. This would mean the NPC would only ever use the dialogue they'd use to address male characters, even if you're playing a character that uses a female character as its basis. I should warn you though, this would potentially be quite a lot of work, and there might be methods easier than mine.

So male would have female body and vice versa, and be treated like their original gender in the universe. This would probably be easier? I've looked for a mod that does this however already and couldn't find one. Edited March 6, 2018 by nNaver
McclaudEagle
I decided to see what unchecking the "Female" tag would do, and essentially it just ends up replacing the female character's body with that of the male model, and turns the face into something that may or may not result in...shall we say...undesirable results (due to morphs made for the female face presets). The problem with changing over body models is that there are no player specific ones (that I can find), which means you'd end up changing the appearance of every NPC in the game, not just your character's.
