DraculaGamer
I downloaded a mod that changed the texture of Steel Plate armor. I though it was cool until I found out that the armor doesn't affect the female chest. I've been poking around and I can't seem to find a way to change the feet, gloves, and helm back to the regular textures just for the female armor. I have the original textures. Anyone know how to make an armor gender specific?
Perraine
A lot of the armors in Skyrim already have gender specific versions, look for *armorname*f.dds or *armorname*m.dds in the textures folder, for example in the case of body of the steel plate armor: nordcuirassm_0.nif and nordcuirassm_1.nif = nordplatem.ddsnordcuirassf_0.nif and nordcuirassf_1.nif = nordplatef.dds Of course you can set your own paths in the ***.nif file to point to custom textures, however in (for instance) the case of "nordplate" (Steel Plate in game) unfortunately both sexes use the same textures for gloves/boots. (BGS got a bit lazy with several of the armors in game like that I'm afraid) The only way to alter this would be to firstly create an exact copy of the texture you want to make gender specific and rename it to something else (like nordplateglovesm.dds for example, to create a male version of the texture), THEN, you either have to edit the texture paths for the individual meshes to point to the new/copied texture OR you could probably do some fiddling with the CK and make a mod that does the pointing
DraculaGamer
Well I figured out how to do it. I just went into Nifskope and alter the texture files. Easier then I thought it would be
