J0kedNexus has received a formal warning. This user has now received 1 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

 

Upload of a mod containing files by another author without the original author’s explicit permission.

Terms and Policies, section Uploading files and images (excerpt):

„All files uploaded must have been created by the uploader or used with permission from the original author of the content. Such permission must be indicated in the Readme text attached to the file and/or on the Description page (or in the Description field for images), and must be obtained in advance, before uploading the file. If you cannot provide proof of consent then your file will be removed and your account is likely to be banned.“

Crediting the original author does not excempt one from the obligation to obtain the original author‘s explicit permission in advance - before use and uploading their file assets on Nexus, unless they have publicly given a general permission for use and re-upload of their files/file assets.
If the original author has not provided any notes regarding permissions, that does not mean, that they have tacitly given permission or that their permission can tacitly be taken for granted – at least not on Nexus.
