Time Out Errors

Hello All,

 

I am having some very strange errors with Vortex. I hope someone can help me out.

 

1. When I click on the "Mod Manager download" button on nexus, nearly 100% of the time I get an error pop up that says: Download Failed esockettimedout

 

2. When I try to login i get an error notice: Connection to Nexus API timed out, please check your internet connection

 

When I click on more (on the notice), i get:

When I use NMM to download, I have no issues whatsoever. Any mod, instantly starts downloading. And, login is instant when I open it.

I hope the info above can help someone help me. But, in any case, maybe this will help someone figure out the reason so it can be fixed (if it's not just me).

Stats: Fresh Windows 10 Install (already tried disabling Windows Defender), Internet Provider: AT&T, Nexus Lifetime Member (for all the head work everyone does). Speed Test: 28ms, up and down about 120 Mbps.

And, if this has been talked about, my apologies. I could not find it.

I have exactly the same problem, and it is very irritating. If a solution could be found that would be fantastic.

yeah I am getting the same, for most of the day. Even tried switching browsers from chrome to edge and it's still happening. Not sure if it's my end or nexus but it's making it difficult to put a LO together.

Yeah I would recommend reverting back to 0.13.3

Quick search is working for me as well. And, I am also able to manually add mods. Also, I tried with Chrome, Firefox and Edge. There was no difference with any browser.

 

I know how frustrating this is, but am glad it's not just me. Hopefully the more information that can be gathered will help find a solution.
