BigDaddyRat
I've installed Settlement Transfer, but when I start the game, it says that my Data/Scripts/F4SE.pex is missing. What and where is it? I've searched my folders and cannot find the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Never mind. Found it. MissingMeshTV
When you download F4SE, there will be a Scripts folder containing the .pex file you’re looking for as well as a bunch of other F4SE scripts. Just copy the F4SE.pex file into your Data/Scripts folder. Pretty sure Transfer Settlements also requires the ObjectReference.pex script, or something similarly named. Consult the TS mod page for the correct file name it that’s not it as I’m only going from my feeble memory while I'm at work. One thing to keep in mind is that every time you need to update F4SE (as in the case of another wonderful Bethesda CC update that breaks it) you will also need to update any F4SE scripts that you’re using with the updated file(s) from the F4SE update you download. Just copy those into Data/Scripts and overwrite. If you don’t, any mods that use those scripts are liable to tell you they are outdated for your F4SE version. pra
ObjectReference.pex is a vanilla script, it should be in one of the default ba2s. F4SE adds it's own version with the new functions, though. You really should copy over the entire scripts folder from the F4SE archive into your data folder. Thesilvernight
I am having a similar issue, however, the file ObjectReference.pex IS in my Fallout 4\Data\Scripts yet the mod insists it's not there. I have the latest version of F4SE.
