Simple help needed for two-three variables of EFFECTSHADER SSE

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I reached the point where the info on the web page CK guide about EffectShader's variables is less than helpful and sometimes confusing.

I am using a vanilla texture inkysmoke1 for a smoky effect attached to the player in my mod. But the problem is that I cant get it to be more thick and dense. In other words I am struggling with how to make it spawn more particles at second and more quickly.

I have to make the smoke effect more dense, but just stuck and cant figure out how. I also am aware, but maybe was mislead, that there is something like particle spawn rate limitation?

Kindly ask for help.

Best regards,

Dimitriy.

Smoke particles are usually generated by a nif using the MPS system.

However, in an Effect Shader, I think the Full Particle Birth Count and Persistant Particle Count values control the number of particles generated, as well as the associated Time and Lifetime values. You could also try scaling the particles slightly larger.
