jaysus Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 as some have noticed lol i suck at mapping and want to change that... so far the following tutorial showed me how its donehttp://www.oman3d.com/tutorials/3ds/unwrap_uvw_mapping/ but im still having trouble... how can i combine the maps of more than one object in one texture in 3dmax? (scabbard and sword for example) or how do i denormalize maps in uvmapper? jaysus Posted June 29, 2008 Author Share Posted June 29, 2008 lol ok nvm XDjust saw the light... but if you wanna know how its done: do as the tutorial says but then move the map parts of each object to different sides of the mapping square... save each and then recombine em in photoshop you should have scabbard maps on one side and blade maps on the other... this way the model still uses its map but both can share one texture...
