game crashes on load

Ok Lurtz I believe I have some good news.

I fixed my game. At least I think I did. Its working perfectly now!

What I did is simple, you see each time you install something and uninstall it, its not actually gone. All that has occurred is your OS has designated to the HDD that the files you have "deleted" are marked for overwrite. This means that while no longer readily available the data is still on your harddrive in some form or another. So what I did is I used a program called drive scrubber that I bought for $20 to write all marked data to 0 seven times over. This ensures that all my data that is still installed will work fine and everything I have uninstalled or marked for deletion is overwritten many times (seven in this case) ensuring it cannot interfere with active data.

I believe the problem was that as I uninstalled skyrim and reinstalled it so many times that left over chunks of data were causing registry errors and interfering with the active installation.

Long story short, I have ensured that the uninstalled skyrim isn't interfering any longer and my game isn't crashing or having unexplainable issues.

I implore you to find this software (I got it at best buy) or find something similar and run it. It took me four hours to complete on my 1tb HDD but I am glad I did.

Hope this helps you.
