ARavingLooony
could someone point me to a guide explaining how to manually install files into my override folder? I've tried it before but my game seems to enjoy giving me the finger and refuses to acknowlege the files despite them all being in the damn folder. theskymoves
1. Extract the files from the compressed archive. 2. Place the files in the proper location (\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override). 3. Profit! Thandal
@ARavingLoony; What mods are your trying to use? Not all DAO mods are installed by placing them in the "\override" folder. See this article: Using Dragon Age Mods for Dummies.

Thandal
@ARavingLoony; That particular mod is packaged as a .dazip file and doesn't go in your "\override" folder at all. It must be installed using the game's built-in utility program "DAUpdater.exe", or one of the other mod managers that understand how to handle that type of mod. Just follow the author's installation instructions. (Note: The article I linked for you discusses .dazip files and how to install them.)

My laptop thought it would be funny to add 2 more overrde folders automatically (no idea y) and it was 1 of those 2 that I was installing the mods to a.k.a the wrong override folder
