Help Porting Custom Follower

Hello,

 

I'm trying to port this gorgeous follower to SSE and followed the usual steps I've used in the past (CK, Nifskope, etc), but when I travel to where she's located my game CTD immediately after the load screen ends.

 

The creator didn't list any requirements and this is the only info there is (this is a 3.0 version of this follower):

 

- New body textures (FS based)

- Completely new freckles (face & body)

- HP Head

- New normalmaps

- New specmaps

- Has her floral crown now

- Has her own bow now (courtesy of quechus13)

- Fixed hair

- Fixed eyeshadow bug

- better skintone (I think)

- New tintmask

- Fixed hairline

- Still shipping with Tribal Assassin outfit

- probably more stuff I forgot to mention.

 

 

I don't know a lot about modding so maybe it's obvious in there why this isn't working, if so please tell me.

 

Anyway, I looked in the loose files and there's a skeleton.nif. I'm guessing this might be the problem?

 

Could I replace it or do anything to get this to work on SSE or am I just SOL?

I converted Lilu to SSE some time ago (for my own personal use). There are two main reasons why you get a CTD with a newly converted Oldrim follower. One is something to do with textures and I have never figured out why that is. The other is a mismatched skeleton, which usually causes a CTD when you take the follower's clothes off. I seem to remember that when you first come across Lilu she's naked, so a mismatched skeleton would make sense. Replace the skeleton.nif with one from XPMSSEand give it another try.
