[MOD Request] Different cross-hair transparency level tied to bow skill

When using the bow for the first time to discover it didn't have an cross-hair was somewhat disappointing, but it did give a clear sense of the main character, Henry, not being skilled with it.

I kind of expected Bow skill or perks to deal with this at some point, but there were no Bow perks and I'm still not sure what bow skill add's.

Over time I got better using the bow without aiming guidance, but in the end I did use the console command, for I really enjoy using the bow.

 

This got me thinking about if it would be possible to get the default cross-hair or an alternative one that starts out at 100% transparency (not visible) and as you gain Bow Skill levels, the cross-hair becomes less transparent and more visible.

It should give some sense of the player character Henry advancing in Bow skill as well as helping the player with lining up shots.
Keeping the transparency levels high will retain some what of the difficulty possibly an alternative cross-hair, larger and V-shaped to not give an accurate center dot, not having an accurate center, bow sway from left to right and transparency all combined will retain the difficulty of archery.

 

Uncertain to what extend this is possible.
I know there are bow perks already, alternative bow cross-hairs, cross-hair transparency levels.

 

Anyway's I hope a modder out there likes the idea and the challenge

Obviously not what you're asking but you could do this yourself using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/31 you can adjust how visible the bow cursor is, I use it set like this:

You'll need to view the image in full to be able to see it! Very discreet dotted circle, you can increase/decrease the size, thickness, change the colour, switch to a cross etc. etc. great mod IMO. I play on PC using a PS4 controller and I have the toggle for the crosshair set to the spare PS button so whenever I need the bow I just toggle the crosshair :)

Currently using the Very Unintrusive Reticle, but also played around with the Bow dot for a little while.
I'm no stranger to installing mods, modding that's a different thing. So just tossing idea's about and hoping for a modder to catch on ;)

 

Thanks anyway, I'll have a look at this mod. Even-though it's a bit to screaming of a cross-hair

use the bow dot mod and learn the proper hold over for the range attempted. just like real archery with a sight pin

Better bow and arrow less hold over.

with a yew bow and 12 skill and better piercing arrows I took out and 5 man cuman camp from above them with 6 arrows( 5 in the chests and one miss) and they never located me.
