WMX, and GRA Problems

Something I noticed was that the GRA versions of the Laser Pistol, and Plasma Pistol don't apply the WMX weapon mods properly.

 

Namely in the case of the Laser Pistol the combat sights are not there (there is an error when I try to get it from the vending weapon mod too, and I can't get it to work the vanilla way either), and the other mods are vanilla instead of the WMX variants. Is there any way I can fix this?

We REALLY need to see your sorted "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. With modded games, its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

And to further clarify when I say combat sights I mean the weapon mod for the Laser Pistol. Not the iron sights.

 

The iron sights are working fine. It is the mods from WMX that are not working for the GRA weapons. They seem to be working with everything else that is not from GRA.

GRA weapons are distinct from "vanilla" weapons; as in separate records. That's why they have different "weapon mods" for each type.

 

"39 27 WMX-DLCMerged.esp" is high up in your "load order". Later it is followed by "76 4c GRA-WRP-Patch-Two_Unofficial.esp" and then "80 50 WMR - WMX Edition.esp" and "84 54 WMX-EVE-AllDLCMerged.esp" among others.

 

Please see the 'Third Rule: The Rule of One' entry and the 'Merge Patch File' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. A "Merge Patch File" is the only way you are going to get record level conflicts between those plugins resolved.

 

You may need to re-order your plugin placement to get the desired "winner" in each case unless you manually create your "merge patch".

I see.

 

I will try making a merged patch, and see if that solves the conflict. Since right now even the vanilla weapon mods are acting weird for GRA, and some of them are not appearing or behaving strangely.
