sacred2 modding textures

dont know if anyone is even using this forum :/

i could need some help with editing textures from armor pieces

 

i followed some turtorial in "dark matters" and managed it to open and edit different texture files, their alpha channel, etc.

but as soon as i dedit something the whole bodypart for that armor just disappears

even when i edit it back (just painting the alpha channel white again) its still gone

i can overwrite with the old files, and the body parts come back

dont know, what im doing wrong :x
