Can't seem to fully uninstall Enhanced Character Edit; it's causing problems

Hello, experienced modders! Recently, I downloaded Enhanced Character edit. I had no trouble until I tried to activate the mod on Nexus Mod Manager. It didn't activate at all. I thought nothing of that, until I started up the game and saw this:

Links are broken now. Sorry!

(You can see something is clearly wrong.)
And then I noticed this:
Links are broken now. Sorry ):
(As you can see, the extra sliders are missing, but something is clearly changed.)
I then deleted the mod, thinking that would fix it... but nothing changed.
Things I've tried:

Google (can't find anyone else who's had this problem)
Sorting load order (should've been the first thing I did, but it didn't have any effect)
Redownloading and deleting Enhanced Chracter edit (took a lot of time, with no effect)
Deactivating and activating all the mods I knew worked (didn't help, and strangely, some of the mods won't reactivate until I redownload them.)
Going into the mod files and deleting what seemed to be remnants of the mod (Again, no change)
Other things to note:

Skyrim Unbound works mostly fine, but keeps... blinking? The screen will flash, and it's a bit laggy, or doesn't work as well as it used to
The game sometimes freezes at weird times
Do any of you have experience with this "bug," or have any idea how to solve it? I'm not sure if it's a problem with Enhanced Character Edit or with NMM. Thanks in advance. I'd just like to play Skyrim again.

Edit March 2021:

Hey, friends. Don't know if any future person will find this as a Google search result. So, I found out the problem. It seemed to be a problem with the way Nexus Mod Manager handled uninstalled mods. There was a whole folder full of mods I thought I had deleted! Wild. So, do some digging. Or ideally, replace NMM entirely. Godspeed, though. I did it wrong and lost all of my save files.
