CTD after installing NMM even without mods?

Hi there

I've recently had to make a clean boot/fresh start with my pc(Windows 10). After having all my stuff put back together on the computer, I decided to start up Skyrik SE again, and started it up, to check if the FPS was still good, and I was indeed running between 25-45 in the helgen area.

I saved and decided to bring back mods.
However after installing my old loadorder and the new 3d Landscape mod, I couldn't even get to the bethesda screen before I got an CTD. So I checked out my mods(one by one) but got no result, only more CTD. I ended up removing all my mods, and I still can't launch!.

I reinstalled my game, and again It would run untill I installed mods via NMM, and even when I uninstalled the mods, it won't run the game.

Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Try MO2 until vortex is done. It really is superior to NMM especially if you have 50+ mods.

 

Usually crashing at startup means a missing master file.

 

I forget if NMM gives you the option to untick Skyrim.esm and its DLC, did you uncheck any of those? Because that might be whats making you CTD at the title screen.
