madmax911
I use SBW so i can avoid these annoying microstutters. My systen is as following Intel I7 920 @ 4GHz2 x HD6950 1GB @ 950MHz core3 x 2 GB DDR3 ram120GB SSD I use all updates and running with aMD ver 12.3 atm and with SBW.exe i can run the game ok at 60FPS with 2xAA but not higher than that. No idea why or what i should do to get the game running better but thats another topic. What i cant, is using any ENB mods or that FXAA post process mod while using SBW.exeCan anyone help me? ScarabMonkey
Perhaps you should attack this from the other angle ... How do I stop the micro stutters without using SBW.... My game was unplayable slow with SBW, so you are already lucky I guess... Anyway, I don't know what you mean by microstutters - with your rig you shouldn't have any issues with even 8xAA 16xAF. I have seen the game become strangely stuttering on an i7 after area transition - the fix is Ctrl-alt-del then press cancel. Perhaps you could try that instead? madmax911
Well that would be a solution if it wasnt what i did in the first place. It have taken me forever to make the game run almost normally and i have only succeeded with SBW so maybe i should just forget it and play the game as it is. trees415
Out of curiosity, what does SBW stand for?
madmax911
Simple Borderless Window. It is a way of making windowed mode look like fullscreen. Using it since running in windowed mode removes the microstuttering.
