I've been making custom meshes in 3ds max and exporting to nif. So far they all lined up right and snapped to preexisting meshes without any gaps.

I made a sink and there was the tiniest of seams with the wall mesh so I started from scratch and made sure I typed in coordinates for the vertices so they were exact. Im pretty sure it would line up perfectly now, but there is a new problem.

In creation kit I use SHIFT+Q on the wall mesh with snapping enabled. The sink snaps but there is a big gap. I move it closer and it snaps but over shoots.

Im pretty sure I used the same export settings for the 3ds nif plugin.

I am at a loss.

so i was taking two wall pieces and combining them into one mesh. the problem was that sometimes i was changing the center point to right between to two wall pieces. if i use one of the existing center points, it lines up correctly.

so you have a wall [.] with a center point.

you combine two [.][.] instead of [ ].[ ] you should do [.][ ]
