Question about where to put merged patch in load order?

So i created a merged patch after adding some mods and I know that you should put the merged patch LAST in the order. However, should you put it last in your load order even under plugins not included in the merged patch? Esp. mods that state to not be included in the merged patch?

I think you should be fine so long as it's after whatever is included in it. I tend to try out new mods during a playthrough and just add new stuff after it so long as it doesn't mess with my form lists and leveled lists, then just make a new merged patch with the ones I keep included for the next.

 

Typically, if a mod says to make sure to load it last, I don't include it in the merged patch and literally put it last..... at least that's how I do it, and it seems to work out for me.

The plugins state not to put it in the merged patch but state that you should try to put it near the end of your load order...So i just placed the merged patch at the end of my load order (under the plugins stated before)

Personally, i'd put it after the merged patch, but if it works, it works.
