i know its a old topic, but please hear me out

first of i want to say, i have been looking for a solution on my own for a full year now and used countless search options on forums to find somebody saying how to fix it,

problem is people say what to do but don't take it in detail, leaving me with bits of a puzzle but not the other parts so i can finish the puzzle

so please, if you know how to fix it explain it in detail, dont give me collective names, say what files need to be removed and which ones should stay,

 

the problem i have still good with deadly reflex, i need a good combat mod and sinds UV2 crashed my game every 5 minutes i decided to go back to DR6

i already fixed the trow weapon crash with the nifse fix mod

but i still have a game crash regarding Combustive convulation spell

the only reason i want that fixed then rather ignore it is that i have been waiting for a spell like that for ages, i love that spell, and sometimes i got it to work by activating other mods, but those crashed my game too

SO

i read on forums, if i want to fix that spell i need to remove some body meshes,

sinds people dont say witch body messes but just say it collective i removed the body meshes from the deadly reflex folder, resulting in my player camera going all crazy

only removing none player related meshes did not fix anything too, it made everything more worse in fact

using body mods to over wright the deadly reflex meshes does not fix anything too

others say its a bug with nifse and there is a solution for it, saying there is a solution but failing to say what the solution is or not even placing a link

 

all my combustive convulation does for me is making the enemy do his animation, then i hear the scream sound

the game stops a moment, the enemy disappears and a nude torso without hands, legs or head appears

the game moves ahead 1 frame and the game crashes to the desktop

 

please if anybody knows how to fix the combustive convulation bug PLEASE tell me!

then i can finally play out oblivion in a better style then vanilla and finally go back to playing skyrim! i need to play oblivion out first!

 

note, dont give me links to a other forum, i scrolled true them but there are more then 800 posts! i tried to look true all of them but did not find any awnsers!

its the soul reason i posted it here after looking for the answer myself for the past year

if i could find the answer myself i would not bother posting here

i just want to know how to fix the best combat mod sinds ever.

update for anybody that does not know it

yes i also tried to only remove the body meshes and textures that were added so i get back the vanilla bodies, but that does not change a thing

oblivion will still crash on using the spell, its a nifse problem, all i want to know is how people solved it, i know there is a solution i just dont know what it is

Install these in this order GET the OMODS...

 

1. Uv2 unesscarry violence 2

 

2. Deadly reflex 6

 

3.http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=40482

 

By installing i mean activate the omods in that order.

 

Move these three mods ESPS to the bottom of your load order so it looks like this.

 

Uv2.esp

Deadly reflex combat move .esp

The Mounted Combat .esp

The BBBDeadly reflex unessecary violoence patch esp.

 

Unesseccary violence and deadly refelex work great together. There is also a Deadly reflex patch for the newer nifse.

thank you for the help but i already tried that too (it was a long year, i can only half remember what i tried of all those things)

but i remember trying this, deadly reflex will still crash with the spell

AND

UV2 has several glitches (yes the new version) that crashes the game too,

there is the occasional 5 minute in game crash where when i use this mod that my game will crash every 5 minutes

also when my weapon gets stuck in a opponent picking up the weapon will crash the game,

trying to play the lute will also crash the game,

icon of the juggling balls is missing

using weapon and shield manipulation will corrupt my save data and i cant disable it in the ini,

and its just a horribly unfinished mod, i loved the idea where it was going but its unfinished and a mine field of glitches, i refuse to use it even tough its the only mod that lets me use soul gems souls as a weapon and alchemy potions as bombs

tough i understand the maker himself must have been under stress, i still cant give respect for a unfinished mod like "that"

o and i dont use BBB anymore, you could barely see the movements with normal body sizes so i just dumped that mod so i would not waist any esp room in my list, im fine with a normal body mod without animations, you only see the difference when you take unreal sizes anyway, and im no fan of that stuff, too much is too much

i run deadly reflex solo, its a finished mod, it just needs some glitch fixing, i fixed all glitches except the combustive covulation

its seriously ALL i need to know, some kind of file to fix that glitch, or just tell me what to change in the mod with the construction kit,

i know there are people out there that got it to work, other ways there would not be videos of successful attempts of that spell out there
