Lancelot92
I ran this game smoothly in High settings. However, it became seriously laggy (fps was about 10-15) right after I updated my VGA driver. I've tried Nvidia performance mod and also modified the settings to Low but still found no change. My VGA card is: GeForce GT 540M someone please help, I want to continue my journey so bad :(
RitualBlack
If your performance became worse after updating your graphics driver than why not just return to your previous driver?
Lancelot92
How can I do that ?
fms1
IDK if yours will be the same, but go to "control panel- system and security- and then under system is device manager (you need administrator powers), go there, scroll to display adapter, expand that and your video card should be there, RIGHT click, choose properties, go to DRIVER tab and there should be a button with option to "roll back driver". For reference I run Win 7 x64 and an AMD card, so yours may be a little different.

The other one is most likely an integrated card that came with the motherboard, so if your monitor cables are connected to your Nvidia card I would think that one, but having both may be conflicting idk. Lancelot92
The problem is SOLVED: Uninstall both card drivers and reinstall them with the previous version. Skyrim now run smoothly again in 60fps :D yet still don't know what Nvidia makes the update for =.="
RitualBlack
AMD has been having a lot of driver problems lately also. I had to rollback to older drivers also due to performance issues about two month ago. The game is a lot more enjoyable when it is running smoothly  .
