Load/Wait Modification

Hey there. Is there any mod out there that forces oblivion to reload everytime you use the wait/sleep thing, or whenever you want to enter a room etc.

Cause I'm finding it VERY annoying that even though I waited 11 hrs with my character, as soon as the dialoge disappears I find myself in a sea of NPCs

trying to find their way home - because it's 4AM and they should've been home 5 hours ago.

Anyhoo, this is a problem that came with the patch will all the performance tweaks, because I remember I could use the wait command

in the previous version of Oblivion. I'm using some of the standard mods (Natural Enviroments, Streamline etc etc) to improve FPS and

such, I've also tweaked my oblivion.ini a bit, but still - I dont see how that would change anything since it's built in with the core files

of the new pathc.

So in conclusion: IS there any mod that forces the game to load in any way when waiting/sleeping/entering a recently explored area.

System specs?

Load order?

Seems like something is causing a problem here. Most of the vanilla NPCs will still move and do stuff while you're waiting. I'm not sure about what would prevent the game from doing this short of turning every NPC in the area to have "no low level processing". I suspect streamline, but have nothing to base that on, and streamline doesn't like being removed once it's been made active.

Well, you're right. The characters dont move during the wait time (UNLESS they are in a zone that I havnt loaded, of course, but if I am seeing them, they wont act until the wait time is over.)

My system specs are the following:

CPU: 1.8 GHz Duo-Core Clocked to 3.0 GHz

2x 1GB DDR2

Asus GeForce 8800GTX 768MB XXX Edition

Creative X-Fi Music

Windows XP SP2

Edit: I dont have Shivering Isles installed.

This is also my .ini file if anyone would like to go through that one: http://www.mulleboy.se/oblivion.ini

Game .ESP and mods:

Game graphics are of course most of them turned to "High" except for Textures (I find em better looking on medium).

Anyhoo, this wait issue is causing alot of trouble for me and I'd appreciate any help.

Alright, the culprit was indeed Streamline mixed with a couple of performance enhancing tweaks done to the oblivion.ini file.

Now that I've reinstalled and only added the most crucial mods everything is running good.

Each time the "wait" has completed, the game loads for about a second or two and I no more have

to watch disorientated citizens start moving on to their homes :)
