chunlix
Hello,I am working on a cave/dungeon type of thing, which uses its own world space so I can have landscape in it. The concept is similar to "Bloated Man's Grotto" in that it is a cave, but the "interior" is just another exterior map. What I am having trouble with is getting the "current location" indicator on the world map to point to the entrance to this area (which is next to Riverwood). Currently, if I am inside this new area the pointer on the world map shows up in the middle of Skyrim. There's a functional map marker on the exterior that shows up just fine and the entrance/exit is linked and functions correctly. I'm unable to find any information on how to achieve this. Thank you. Tamb0
I'm pretty sure the map marker goes on the Tamriel map, not in your dungeon worldspace. You've created a worldspace in a void, so it has nothing to reference it to the worldmap.
chunlix
The "parent" worldspace is tamriel, just like the other maps made in a similar way. For example the "Bloated Man's Grotto" map, if you enter it, your "current location" map marker is placed on top of the entrance's map marker in tamriel, indicating that you are inside it.That's what I'm trying to achieve but I just can't figure it out. Jadak
I don't have the CK in front of me right now, but iirc on the properties for your worldspace itself there's a place where you can tell it what the cell coordinate offset is for it's origin. That way 0,0 in your custom wordspace will appear like 10,25 on the world map. Just plug in the cell coordinates where your entrance in located and it should fix that. Let me know if you get it figured out.
