Favourite Race Mod : Mystic Elf

Reason : You can create a pretty face by simply randomizing! You don't need to spend half as long styling the face, and you end up with beautiful results. The ears are lovely too, and the hair that comes with the mod. I've noticed the Mystic Elf being quite speedy too, so it has pretty much everything going for it!

What about you? :)

Custom race made from parts of other mods by myself. Why? "Need something done your way - do it yourself"©.

Nice idea!

:)

That's true, and I only ever use house mods I make myself, purely because I like knowing I furnished it in a way that suits my character (and can truly call it my OWN style) :D!

I don't know how to make my own meshes and textures though. Sad, yes. :(

My favorite custom race

Race: Luchaires dryad

Reason: I love nature and nature based classes. I love nature based races and they fit that perfectly. They come with a nice set of eyes, nice hair, they work with ALL the body mods I have specifically Roberts male and TFF. They move fairly quick and have great stats for a caster and with my friends polymorph:panther mod My druid Delacroi feels just like my druid from WoW. I also like how they use what seems like oblivions standard face which makes it easier for me to make a guy that actually looks like a guy and with my knowledge of the face editor I can make attractive females with them aswell. It may take me a little while to make the females look the way I want them to but when it comes to my characters I hate to cut corners and think if it's not worth doing well the first time it's not worth doing at all.

Edit:WTH when I try to link things that way they seem to keep messing up on me. I got it to work yesterday now it's going downhill arg.

My favorite custom race is the Dark Elf from the Elves of Lineage II mod. I feel they look more how a Dark Elf SHOULD look; they're pretty and both Elf races from this mod are nicely balanced to me. Both the Elf and Dark Elf can be pretty without really editing the face a lot. And using Ren's head mesh means they can support any of the eye options from Ren's Beauty Pack, so there are a lot of options for adding other hairstyles and eyes.

Hehe I figured you'd say that Leeny. You seem to put a lot of praise into the lineage elves I may check them out....I already have like 18 different custom elf races though lol.

I praise them mostly for the Dark Elves. I haven't found a custom Dark Elf race I've liked more. I played the Corean Dark Elf for a while, but it just wasn't the same. The Elves of Lineage look so natural and how Elves should to me. I don't know if I can praise them enough.

Well I'll always have a soft spot for Ren's Mystic Elves too. They were kinda one of the things that made me mod my game in the first place. I saw a pic and was like 'who are they?!!' 'How do I do that?'

I have 3 characters, 2 of them are Mystic Elves. The hair, the eyes, the tatoos, its a classic race mod. Its THE classic race mod. Just two months after the game was released, there it was. 9.64 from 736 ratings to date.

My other favourite which is really cool and fun is the Gorijin'la race which was part of tuskenred's Orangung ape race pack.
