ViscontiRogue
I've been looking for a mod that makes stomach growls, yawns, coughs, etc to notify me when hardcore needs get too high. I've seen a few via youtube and read about some on posts, but no ones been able to give me a straight answer about the mod. Any ideas? Thanks
SirDanest
Imp's more complex needs, if I recall, displays all the needs on-screen. I don't think it uses sound, but the info is all there. But ... it is the most insanely detailed nutrition mod around. More than most people are going to want; carbohydrates, protein, fat, spoilage, food appeal, etc. The detail just goes on and on. But yeah, all the needs info is easily seen so you'll see if the needs are high.
AusAllerWelt
Project Nevada has that feature, though I do not recomment using Project Nevada anymore since it is rather outdated nowadays.
dubiousintent
I keep seeing people make comments about mods being "outdated" and have no idea what that is based upon except "age". If the mod works as described, what more do you need? (A mod that does not, due to some unpatched incompatibility with an underlying dependency such as NVSE or similar for instance, would fairly be categorized as "outdated". This is not the case with PN.) The game is 8 years old, and yet here you are playing an "outdated game". When offering such advice, please be a little more specific if you wish to be helpful. -Dubious-
AusAllerWelt
You are right, I should have been more specific and also less subjective about this. Project Nevada has a lot of incompatabilities with other mods and therefore needs a huge amount of patches. There are alternatives like JSawyer Ultimate and Vicious Wastes that introduce their changes through scripting and reduce the need for patches to a very small size. I have not experienced this myself but read about cases were Project Nevada even seemed to be the cause for save game bloat. dubiousintent
Thank you for the clarification. Those are fair points (but nothing to do with being "outdated" which was my only original complaint). I am not here to justify or apologize for PN, but in fairness feel it should be pointed out those same "patching" objections apply to pretty much any "major overhaul" to any aspect of the game, including the alternatives mentioned. But such decisions are personal ones. It is fair and helpful to point out such disadvantages. -Dubious-
