GamerV
I'm using Blender and my model after going through nifskope is behaving incorrectly in game. First, the Textures are not showing up on the model. They show in Nifskope but not in game. I've turned "color vertex's" on and faced normals and its still Black. Secondly I cannot seem to figure out how to get my helmet to link to the "skull bone" when I export I don't have any dismember information in my nodes. I have a feeling I missed a step when creating the helmet. Currently it just floats at a fixed point about neck level. Any assistance would be great. As I have come to a brick wall on this. I'm sure these are easy fixes that I missed in the tutorials.
huntsman2310
Are you using the nifscripts for Blender 2.49? Because even if you export the model back into Nifskope, thet textures most likely won't work because the current version of Nifscripts doesn't support Skyrim NIFs. kingchris20
Your textures are showing up in NifSkope? They shouldn't. I may not be right, but how do u have your texture path set up? My textures only show up in NifSkope if I have the paths setup to C:\programfilesx86\steam....., but it should be simply textures\armor\yourmodel.nif, so you would erase everything in the path before textures\armor\yourmodel.nif

GamerV
I also downloaded the blender package from Nexus that had all 4 applications. I'm just at a lost as to how to tell my helmet that its is going to be a helmet and locked to the head bone in Blender or Nifskope so that it does exactly that in game. huntsman2310
I think you have to assign the helmet to a bone by using the creation kit. I might be confusing them with body slots though. I'd suggest going onto the nexus wiki and finding a tutorial on helmet making there, one from Oblivion should still apply.
