NMM crash on open

Not sure whats happening, NMM was working yesterday, then today it starts crashing on open every time.

 

gives me a message saying NMM has stopped working, created a trace log, give advice on going to Nexus Forums saying this (below) is in the trace log.

Upon opening trace log I get a 'Discovering Game Mode Factories' list and a whole list of my mods (guessing thats normal, but am unsure if relevant) followed by, at the end, what the error message says;

I'm guessing that the problem is my URI is empty..... whatever that means.

any ideas on cause/solution?

 

Any help MUCH appreciated as I DLed the NMM specifically because I'm useless at remembering what I have installed and where......

 

 

 

sorry, can't seem to attach the whole trace log..... constantly fails to upload (another symptom???)

May seem obvious now that I've done it, but I forgot to try one thing.

Uninstall, re-download and reinstall NMM.

 

If anyone else has a similar problem, I never heard of the cause, but uninstall and reinstall fixed it.

Even if you reinstall the same version number, it seems to work.

 

I had 0.16.4 and reinstalled 0.16.4. now it works.

 

Although I have yet to try and dl through NMM from the Nexus yet, I guess that'll work too.

 

Will post results of next attempt for anyone who's watching, then I think I'll abandon this, as I've had less reads (let alone comments [0 other than my own]) than topics which have come out mere hours ago...

For anyone else still reading (doubtful)

DLs through NMM are working again for me after reinstall, except (of course) for those mods which have internal problems.

 

Obviously I got no help from the community, but hopefully I have helped those who have a similar error message, even though my 'fix' was probably the most basic available... un-install, reinstall...

 

anyway, I am now personally abandoning this post. Dunno how to close it officially as I don't normally look at the forums, so do whatever. If there is a moderator or someone from admin who ever looks this way, can you please close this topic? Appreciate it.

i have the same poblem as socchik but with the 0.19.0 version and re-installing doesnt work.

exact the same error info, pls help me D:
