lethielnyrond
You know the feeling. You're down in the depths of Doomblight Caverns or up in the highest reaches of Mzoom, and you come on a stack of books, and you're standing there while the spiders (of whatever sort) creep up on you, thinking "have I got that one already? I haven't read it, but does that mean I haven't got it? Am I missing volume two or volume three of that series? Is this the one I haven't got, or the one I've got five of already because I keep thinking it's the one I haven't got?" So, how about a spell, or a power, or a scroll, to produce a list of all the books on your shelves, a paper list that you can read in-game and take with you? Would that be doable? Baer2x4
I use Unread Books Glow & that, in combination with the "eye icon" from skyui you get for books already read, the do I already have it problem is pretty much solved.
thumbincubation
We've come a long way from the old PS3 days, where you'd have to carry every single book in sight out of the dungeon, then sell off the dups.

Only if you've read every book you have, and don't read any book you don't take. I'm not that disciplined. Still, you make a good point. I'd still like to be able to make a list though. I'll try using Take Notes. Lethiel
Deleted3897072User
Would it suffice to be able to see a list of every book you had ever taken and whether or not you have read it (regardless of whether you had subsequently thrown it away or not)? That could be done quite simply by having a script that, every time you picked something up, if it's a book, placing an extra copy of it in a special chest hidden somewhere in the game. Then have a spell that brings up the inventory of that chest. So the inventory is your list.

I'm not all that disciplined either but since just opening a book counts as reading, it's pretty easy.
