gdarknight Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 As there have been many improvements with the 1.2 patch and OBSE as far as spell scripting goes....I was planning on making a very focused spell pack for Paladin/Crusader/Healer classes that used "Holy" magic as it's base. Many of the spells could even be 2-sided, as they would heal/buff friendlies, while damaging the Undead and "evil" NPCs. ihateregisteringeverywhere Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 turn undead The supernatural ability to drive off or destroy undead by channeling positive energy.Anyway, as far as cleric and paladin spells go I'd basicaly go for aura effects that would cripple(slow), turn("fear") or hurt the undead. (Exorcism, turn undead, destroy undead) Possibly a spell you could use to bless your current weapon(hahah, or pools of water :D). Maybe a nice sunstrike spell to kill vampires and blind the other undead, but that has probably been done before. Another nice addition flawourwise would be a holy summon of sorts.. Like "the avatar of akatosh"(Basicaly a smaller dragon constructed out of fire and light. But that's a bit too complicated for a simple spell pack). gdarknight Posted July 6, 2008 Author Share Posted July 6, 2008 I've started on the mod, and worked out a solid system for the spells to either do "judgement" healing/damage based on friendly (heals), aggressive (weak damage), or undead/vampire (strong damage). I already have plans for the following spells/items:- Holy Ring centered on the player that does "judgement" healing/damage- Targeted AOE of Holy Light that does "judgement" healing/damage- Targeted AOE of "purification" that cleanses friends and causes atrophy on undead/vampires- Holy Warding: aura that turns undead/vampires- Lay on Hands: once a day power that completely heals/resurrects a companion- Holy Wards that you can "summon" as traps against undead/vampires (great for a retreat)- Holy Water "poison" for weapons that does "judgement" healing/damage (great for that accidental hit on your companion) There will probably be Self/Touch/Target variations of most of the spells. Any detailed ideas/suggestions would be great. Also, I could use suggestions on the spell acquisition, such as buy from chapel healers, or a quest.
