Thalmor Takeover

Hey to all the modders out there,

I had an idea for a a mod, but, as I have no idea how to mod, and the fact that this mod is probably quite complicated (just a feeling, no real idea), I decided to ask the Nexus community to see if anyone would be willing to try to make this.

In this mod, the Thalmor have taken over Solitude (regardless of which Civil War state it is in). Therefore, there are a number of changes.

-Elenwen now resides in the Emperors Tower

-Rulindil is in Castle Dour (in place of General Tullius), with a Thalmor Wizard in place of Legate Rikke and a Justiciar in place of the other Legate

-All city guards are replaced by Thalmor Soldiers, all Imperial Soldiers/Penitus Oculatus Agents are replaced by Thalmor Wizards

-Most of the businesses in the town have been replaced by Altmer owners (except Radiant Raiment, because it already is Altmer-run). New shopkeeper High Elves will have to be made for this, unless you can convert the current citizens into Highe Elves...

-The Bards college is now replaced by a College run by the Thalmor, which teaches that Mer are superior to Men etc.(no quests from it)

However, there is still some resistance left!

-There is a barricade which is unbreakable by NPCs (i.e. only the player can break it) blocking access to the Blue Palace. Inside, General Tullius, Jarl Elisif, Legate Rikke and the remnants of the Imperial garrison are fighting to save themselves. When the player comes along, the are Thalmor and Imperials firing arrows at each other. The player can choose to help Elenwen crush them (by talking to her) or help the men by helping all of them escape to the docks. They then take a ship and go to Dawnstar or Windhelm.

The reason behind this is that the Thalmor wanted to take control of Skyrim, but had to imprison Tullius before he sent word to the Emperor of the breaking of the White-Gold Concordat. If you help the Imperials escape, the Thalmor will become very hostile, so you will have to sneak around Solitude. If you help the Thalmor, they become a lot more friendly, and welcome you to Solitude with open arms. When General Tullius and co. arrive in Dawnstar/Windhelm, they start saying that they will be recruiting soldiers to retake Solitude, but nothing ever happens (otherwise it would get too complicated).

I honestly do not know if this is possible, although I imagine that it could be achieved by re-texturing and scripting the majority of NPCs in Solitude. The hard part is probably the battle at the Blue Palace. If any modders know of a more convenient way to manage the Blue Palace bit, please let me know. I hope someone is interested enough to try this!

Thanks,

-Helix341
