Uniquekind
Hi all, I have been researching this for a little bit, and the couple posts I found that were similar had no answers--I made a cave player home, and when I approach the cell the entrance is in for the first time it looks great, however when I enter the home, then leave 90% of the time the entrance and other cliff/rock pieces I added to blend it are gone--the trigger will still teleport me to the dungeon, but there is just an empty space where the entrance used to be. It is very frustrating as I don't want to release a buggy mod. Any insight/tips would be greatly appreciated. Here are a couple pics to illustrate: http://www.uniquekind.net/Skyrim/Screenshots/EntranceBug01.jpgNormal. http://www.uniquekind.net/Skyrim/Screenshots/EntranceBug02.jpgMissing entrance. Other parts I added are floating. http://www.uniquekind.net/Skyrim/Screenshots/EntranceBug03.jpgEntrance gone, teleport still working... Thanks. Jadak
This is a common Skyrim bug. Usually, playing with the 'Full LOD' flag on the affected objects will mostly fix it, but that's not 100% either. On The Cascade House I got it to work like 95% of the time, and on the odd random occasions it does disappear I can make it come back by going inside and coming back out. It's weird though, sometimes you need to have it flagged, sometimes you need it to not be flagged, and sometimes it seems that setting it, then saving, removing the flag, and then saving again work in different situations. There doesn't seem to be any way to fix it that works in every situation, and even when it does, it doesn't seem to be quite 100% of the time. Uniquekind
Thank you! That appears to have done the trick--at least for the 10 minutes of entering and exiting I tested it with. Oddly, I did have to set some pieces to Full LOD and others not, as all both ways would not always load properly. Thanks again, I was really losing heart with all the effort and time I put into the interior, only to have the exterior be so inconsistant.
