Timmhaze
Ok So I'v been having this issue with skyrim that whenever i spend a large-ish amount of time in the wilderness the game crashed but not in the conventional way. The way the game crashed for me isnt the whole "Black screen then "TES: V .exe has stopped working" its more like skyrims open... now its not, no noise, no error messages, just a quick clean shut down. My Fan is having issues and sometimes the safety feature kicks in and shuts off my laptop but that hasnt happened in a long time :/. I'm not sure whats up with it but if somone can give me an answer that would be great, also my computers specs are over twice the recommended for skyrim. Thanks again -Tim :)
hellstorm102
add these lines to your skyrim.ini under the [Papyrus] section iMinMemoryPageSize=100000iMaxMemoryPageSize=5000000iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000 without these i get the instant crash to desktop with no errors might help you! also make sure windows is updated and .net is updated defrag, and antivirus/malware scan is allways a good idea
shmimbadad
I've been getting this too, it also seems to happen almost every time if I go through a door or gate with a loading screen, and then try to go back through the same door. I don't have a papyrus section in my ini file.. Should I just put one there and stick those lines in?

[papyrus] should be at the bottom of skyrim.ini not skyrimprefs.ini if its not there, add it! and good luck!
