Problems after mod installation

I installed this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15105 which is a visual overhaul for a more photorealistic Skyrim and now I cannot get my game to start. I know my system can run the mod and skyrim perfectly I can't even get to the logo screen, it just starts then shuts off. Any help or knowledge to help me troubleshoot where this problem would be stemming from would be greatly appreciated.

Previous MODs installed:

ENB + FXAA post process injector

Smithing + Crafting mods

Mods included in the S.T.E.P. (Skyrim Total Enhancement Project)

Are you running any background monitoring software? ENBsereis is known to have issues where software (such as RivaTuner, MSI AfterBurner, EVGA Precision, CPU Accelerator, etc.) would interfere with the injection of the .dll. It generally causes a crash just as you're describing. This particular crash is quite finicky and different users with practically identical set ups often experience different results with getting ENB to play nice with monitoring software.

The alternative is that you either left some files behind from your old version of ENB that aren't compatible with this version, or that you didn't properly install all of the necessary files of this version into your \Skyrim\ directory. Config files, and shader.fx files are often the culprit in this scenario.

Thanks guys, that was the problem. EVGA precision was going bananas I turned it off and got skyrim running, albeit painfully slow. I guess my system isn't good enough to run this mod.

If you're running an Nvidia card, check the driver settings. My copy of Skyrim used to lag horribly until I realised I was running both Nvidias built in anti-aliasing AND Skyrims own anti-aliasing at the same time.

I don't know it was working fine with the original ENB and Post process injector. Over 120 FPS. I just installed a new ENB which made no difference so now I'm sure the slowdown isn't due to my inability to run the ENB. I disabled AF, AO, and AA to no avail still horrible FPS. After removing post process injector (which disables ENB) I get about 40 fps which is nowhere near what I was getting before. I'm going to keep tweaking and see if I can identify the problem.
