Character Creation Menu CTD - SSE,

I'm having an issue with my char menu, i use ECE as racemenu isn't available. The menu seems to work fine however after a few minutes while creating a character the game ctd's. I tried using showRaceMenu_preCacheKiller but its an oldrim mod so i don't know if it worked, and my game still crashed. I have a very mod heavy game with 236 mods installed - this may be the issue, however other than this problem my game is very stable and works amazingly well.
