MustardHorde
So I've finally got the mods I want, the performance from the game is at it's peak.. but I'm left with some glitchy textures.. Right from the start, the path to riverwood, just before you enter it for the first time, there is a large chunk of it floating in the air, which suggests there will be other similar places in Skyrim glitched like this. Any idea as to what this is and how I can fix it? I've tried disabling all my texture mods and nothing seems to work.
fms1
This sounds like a bug\ or glitch with the item placement, and not the textures, unless your getting rendering problems as well.

So what do you think might be the cause? Not sure what you mean by rendering problem (novice when it comes to computers, only recently upgraded from 360)
fms1
I would guess that it could be caused by a mod conflict\ incompatibility\ or load order issue, or a patch bug\ glitch. Rendering is the process in witch your CPU\GPU turn digital data into a 3D image, e.g if your textures look exactly how there supposed to = no rendering problem. Textures look fine, just misplaced, they are also solid. So I can actually walk on them and fall of them, even shooting an arrow under them (low enough to the ground that i cant walk under it) Would any mods putting new objects into the world map be able to cause this even if they are far away from the strange textures themselves or..? fms1
They can, it would be unlikely to, unless it was 1 of the things previously stated.

Well given I really have no idea how to fix this I guess I'll do a complete reinstall of the game.
fms1
Before that, how many mods do you have? And do you use any mod utilities, mainly for load order?
