Weapon damage rating changing?

So I'm looking at this warhammer in my inventory.

Then I turn to walk deeper into this dungeon, and decide to change my weapon. In my inventory, I notice this.

Rather strange, and I've been noticing this happening with all my weapons lately. They just seem to randomly change damage. Every weapon has two possible damage ratings, and I couldn't find any pattern as to when it was changing. Until now. Getting outside, I started randomly checking my inventory every few seconds, and finally noticed that when I face north, west, or south...

But when facing east...

This happens with every weapon in my inventory, including bows, and arrows. I haven't tested to see if I am notably more effective in combat when facing the sunrise, but I suspect that I am. Any ideas what's doing this? Or how to fix it?

edit: actually, nvm, my suggestion didn't consider that it happens with EVERY weapon.

edit2: go figure, I just came back from the sovngarde quest throughout which my Daedric bow strangely shot up to 600+ damage from its "normal" 433. (buffed stats in both cases, but no change to my char's fortify archery apparel or perk buffs.)

Exactly! it's freakin strange. I've checked my active effects and whatnot, it's definitely not coming from any kind of perk or anything like that. The only pattern I found is that, when outside, all my weapons increase in damage when facing east. And it will go back and forth, constantly depending on that. Those screenshots of the orcish sword were taken about half a second apart. I looked at inventory, damage 19. Closed inventory, turned right, opened inventory. Damage 26. After getting relevant perks (the armsman perk for +20% damage one-handed), All damage ratings on one handed weapons went up, but they still have the two options, that change based on the direction I'm facing (or at least seem to). The high and low possibilities both went up though.

More developments with the strange weapons. It now seems there is a third possible damage rating. I still get a large boost to damage rating with all weapons when facing east, and now, my bow at least, has a third, even higher damage that it will randomly go to. I've only seen the third with my bow, but I've got it over the course of less than a minute, go from 36 damage, to 53 damage, to 80, and back. It seems to be doing 36 most of the time (which I think is the correct damage. it's a glass bow (superior), and I have one level on the overdraw perk), and it goes up to 53 when facing east. I haven't found a pattern yet for when it decides to jump all the way to 80, but I saw it a couple times today.

Same thing with the Daedric bow happened again last night. Usual damage on the bow is 433 (smithed to "legendary" & I have all archery perk buffs and am wearing 3 fortify archery-enchanted apparel items) but all of a sudden last night it went to 602. I didn't notice if I was facing east or not. I'm not using any weapons mods, except for the weapons that momod adds but the first time it happened was before I installed momod.

This used to happen to me in FONV quite a bit (without changes in ammo or any other thing that could explain it). Never did figure it out in that game.

EDIT: dunno how I didn't notice this before, but I was just playing and it was pretty straightforward: while I have another weapon equipped, and my bow is idle in my inventory, its damage is 433. As soon as I equip it, it shows 602. Oddly, it's the only weapon in I have on me atm that does that (no change in my enchanted glass sword & battleaxe or the unenchanted Daedric and Dwarven daggers that I recently looted). Which apparently isn't the case with the OP, as the screenies show that the weapon in question is not equipped. (Plus it happens to all of 'em)
