Lydia won't leave me alone!

Hi guys!

 

I've got a problem that is probably related to the mods (installed in this order):

 

1) Better Horses

2) UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul

3) Horse Armors

 

After installing Horse Armors my horses got messed up (fyi its incompatible with Better Horses which i didnt know), so I uninstalled both.

Since then Lydia has the following bugs:

 

1) I can't "part ways" with her, she doesnt react to the conversation prompt, just stays with me

2) after random fasttravels she vanishes, then shows up again after the next fasttravel

3) she lost her own horse and sometimes takes mine!!!

4) I gave her a superior steel armor that turns transparent

 

I checked the console (show Playerfollowercount = 0.0000).

 

My Question:

 

1) can I maybe refollow her using console commands?

2) can i uninstall UFO if playerfollowercount = 0 but Lydia is still following me?

 

 

EDIT: uninstalled UFO (according to their uninstall guide). Found her, everything was vanilla again. RE-installed UFO, fasttravelled. she gets on a horse and brings it to the fasttravel location, but she arrives a bit later than i do, and comes galloping in.

 

weird sideeffect: ALL horses in my vicinity, even those i dont own ("stealable" ones) FOLLOW me!!!

 

kinda annoying...

I had problems with those mods conflicting and acting strange as well (My Lydia wouldn't follow me.) I ended up just ditching UFO and keeping better horses.

 

If you're adamant about keeping UFO, then I'd recommend reinstalling it like so:

 

Save, Exit Skyrim & disable UFO.

Open Skyrim & Save without UFO. Exit Skyrim.

Re-enable UFO & make sure it's in the recommended load order.

Attempt to play like normal.
