KPWoCkAxX
Now You all know what i'm about to say. But first hear me out. I am unable to access the console. I have tried everything suggested such as removing infa red devices, Right down to the Ring Of Console. Now Nothing seems to work! I am running Oblivion on XP and have What i think is called a QWERTY Keyboard. I know i have to press the ¬ button but nothing provails. What do I need to do?Hope someone has the answer. Thanks, KP
ApocalypticBiscuit
that is SOOOOO wierd.... the only thing i would suggest is playing with your keyboard settings....maybe its set on another language type?....'cause the button your suposed to press is the one over the TAB button.... RGMage2
The only thing I could suggest is to check if the console in enabled in the Oblivion.ini file. You can find the Oblivion.ini file in My Documents\My Games\Oblivion Open the file and find the line that says bAllowConsole= If it reads bAllowConsole=0 change it to bAllowConsole=1 and save it. I just checked that out and mines set to 1 and I still can't open the console but the ring of console works for me so I found my way around my problem I hope you find a way around yours KPW. Varus Torvyn
Well, woogiemonster might be onto something, since the keypress character by OP is incorrect, yet OP says he's on a qwerty keyboard.
hybridfan
Could be a dud key and I have just noticed I'm using library PC at the moment that the ~ key is on the left hand side of the big "return" key, you also have to press shift down whilst pressing it... WEIRD.
KPWoCkAxX
By the way its KP not OP if thats what you mean. but seriously My ~ button does *censored* all. and i've been told to use the ¬ button like my fried does. KPWoCkAxX
If it was a dud key do you think I would be able to type it? Observe: ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬. Now you tell me if it's a dud or not.
