If you can find the original documentation for your system - look to see if they have a ~ key. usually called tilde key. Some non English keyboards replace the ~ key with a different one. If you are playing the English version of Oblivion with a non English keyboard that could be a problem. If so, there may be a utility to redefine a key to what you need.

I gave that keytweak a shot but completely ruined things....... Maybe I did it wrong.

But anyway it did no favours for me.

And as for looking in the Oblivion INI file and changing that number thing it was already set to 1.

I guess i'll have to go without or perhaps get a PC of my own. (currently using family's PC) Everyone uses it and I have no right to change that.
