woodtortiose
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could turn me on to a good thorough gecko users manual. I've reached my maximum plugin limit, and I was especially interested in the merge esp feature, but I cant get it to work correctly. Specifically, I merged two clothing mods by Tona, which add a couple of chests to the game. Well the chests appeared, but the clothing inside had no icons and made my character disappear when equipped. The mods work fine when installed individually, but they lose some meshes when merged with gecko. There are also other features with gecko that I need more info on than is in the readme. I've tried searching this and other forums, to no avail. Also, I'm experiencing serious performance issues, which is a main reason I want to try this. Does anyone know if decreasing the amount of plugins (by merging) without decreasing the actual mod content will help at all? This is my third time playing, and my first with FCOM/OOO/MMM/Frans. This group of mods alone adds 100-150 plugins to the game, even after merging with a bashed patch. Ideally, I'd like to merge all my clothing mods into one plugin, and then do the same with house mods, companion mods, animation mods, etc, etc, so instead of 253 plugins I only have 160 or so, without losing any content. Is this possible? Will it help performance? I have no experience with the construction set, so I had hoped that gecko would allow me to do this.
