KnightshadeVK
So i've run into a rather odd and frustrating issue, and I could use a little assistance from the community. I've been working on a mod which enhances the lighting of various interior locations throughout the game. It's been a pretty big success so far, and I've managed to improve the lighting of several player homes. However, I've reached my nemesis - Proudspire Manor. With only 4 shadow-casting lights available, I've found it incredibly difficult to properly light the area. Thankfully I ran across a great little script (located here: http://sots-eye-candy.blogspot.com/2012/02/skyrim-ck-scripting-tutorial-dynamic.html) which allows me to turn on/off lights based on how the player moves throughout the cell. In theory this seemed to solve all my issues. However, I've run into a problem wherein I have started noticing phantom lights appearing in certain locations within Proudspire - lights for which there exists no source. I'm not sure if it's created from the script or from some strange bug in the game. Either way, I've tried contacting the mod creator (who originally was exceptionally responsive and helpful), but sadly it's been a couple months now and I've received no reply from him. As such, I'm coming to the community looking for possible solutions or suggestions on how best to solve this perplexing issue. Below you'll find a link to my .esb file and some screenshots of where the issue is occuring. You can load it up and see for yourself. In the editor, there exists no light at the location, and yet, when you load the game, the light is there, casting shadows and acting as if a source exists. link: http://d.pr/f/PaSP To clarify the location of the phantom light, it's located in the corner stairwell in the lowest level. It bleeds through the floor into the 2nd floor even, and it also appears to cast shadows. Any help in figuring out how to locate and remove this light source is greatly appreciated. Please note, I have used the "cell view" to locate all lights in the scene and tried deleting them all - to no avail. I'd just like to say thanks to anyone offering up some help with this issue.
