Dual Sheath Redux two dagger sheaths with only one dagger equipped

Here's an interesting problem for all you smart guys and gals :geek:

I'v had duel sheath redux in my load order for over a year now and never noticed this issue before

 

after installing equipping overhaul and then uninstalling it (having decided i don't like it), if i have two of the same type of dagger in my inventory (regardless of enchantment or quality) and then equip one dagger in my left hand, both dagger sheaths appear on my characters body. it doesn't happen with any other weapon types to my knowledge.

 

I have tried uninstalling, redownloading and reinstalling dual sheath redux, xpmse, fnis and all requirement mods. i have cleaned saves using save cleaner, verified integrity of game files, tried with no mods installed other than dual sheath redux and its requirements. i have tried older saves before the problem started and still no luck.

 

my load order is as follows:

the testpatch is a smash patch and i have also had it for over a year, its just disabled while i mess with my load order (dsr and its requirements are on the masterlist for it)

I am also aware that equipping overhaul and DSR are technically incompatible but brodual seems to think they work together as do several other people on the internet so i thought id try it anyway.
