LeebrawDGAF
sup fellas :Di know with my lack of introduction and straight forward questioning i wont be making many friends, but i've spend the last ~8 hours getting informed about modding NV and i really just want to get my intel done allready and get going with some tuning. :)my FO carreer originally started with FO1 and i was very impressed with the first two parts of the series and tbh a lil bit disappointed with FO3. But well i decidet to give it another chance with a friends help and a ton of mods which really boosted my impression of the game... i bought FO NV for my ps3 at release and just felt like been kicked in the teeth (bugs, game freezes, crashes -> the game was simply unfinished >:/ )well now i got myself the ultimate (ofc allready patched) edition with all the dlc's and want to feel the same amazement like with the fully moddet FO3, but well i d'ont really know how to do it myself.d'ont worry i've been watching gophers tutorial vids and also lurked the NV mod index for several hours so i guess i'm not a complete plain sheet, but well there are still some things unclear to me and i would like to fill those gaps with some pro advice :D _TL;DR_ with my i5-2500k, hd6900 flex, and 8gig ram (i know 4gig is the max) i hope to get the most graphically enriched Mojave packed with a lot of new areas, quests, npc's and the toughest difficulty somehow possible.. basically i'd love to have a mixture of s.t.a.l.k.e.r, bf3, MOAR RPG elements and the scenery of fallout :D so uhm would be nice if you could tell me about known compability problems with the upcoming list of mods and some suggestions what i could add to work towards that goal, or just rate the mods. further i dont really know what benefit i could have with using FOMM together with NMM, some hints about mod loading order would be nice also i didn't really get how i can control the features overwritten by other mods (through mod order) and how exactly this mod merging works. plz guys share some wisdom and excuse my at times broken english ^^ ...teh (updated) list: <Utilities>(?)#FOMM|Fallout Mod Manager# ~> why with NMM installed? rotarydanimal
I have not used many of the other mods on your list, but one of my favorites is "tuckered out". It adds a lot more to making the game feel real.Having unified HUD and either electro city (with darker nights) or nevada skies definately adds to the effect. As for load order, I have been using LOST (Load Order Sorting Tool), but Nexus Mod Manager has a sorting utility included.
LeebrawDGAF
thanks for the reply i will definately take a look at tuckered out - had any problems combining it with project nevada?i think i'm starting to figure out the load order thingy by myself never have seen NMM sorting anything by itself tho :L ty anyways >> FOR ALL NEW READERS; i allready did an update to my list, crossed some things off, marked what i've got to work and what i've patched etc. mainly i think i can handle the basic organizing of mods now; what i could use from you guys are suggestions which mods would work/ immerse good with my allready installed ones PLUS some tips which texture mods really contribute to OJO BUENO and which ones simply cause a conflict of style :) thanks in advance
DaffydMoonshadow
Hi Leebraw, I would suggest using LOOT (Load Order Optimization Tool). It performs the same functions, and is in fact, the "next-gen" of BOSS.
