Best combat/enemies AI mod?

Hello there.

I've been using revenge of the enemies for some time now, but I'm really getting sick of dying with a one shot lightning spell or fire shout, and all that OP and unbalanced problems that goes with this mod. But as soon as I uninstalled it, I've been missing the challenging side it use to give to the game.

I'm using SIC and HLE, and play at legendary level. (I like to bring 2 or 3 followers )

I'd like to know what mod, or combo of mods, you think brings the best experience concerning combat and enemy AI, challenging of course, but still fair balanced.
