sqigg
I just did a fresh install of FO4 and it seems like none of my esp'd mods are loading. I have correctly edited the .ini's to enable modding. All mods I install with NMM and I always double-check manually that NMM has installed them correctly, which it has. All of my texture mods seem to be working as well as F4SE. For testing, I installed a few clothing mods and used the console "help keyword" command to find them. It only returned vanilla results. I did install LooksMenu, but none of my hair mods show up. Exiting the game, ALL the mods still show active in NMM. I'm at wits end trying to figure this out I've never had any problem like this in my years of using mods. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Do I have to have a Bethesda.net account for my installed mods to work ? In the menu I noticed that there is now a "MODS" category. When I click it, it shows my mods that I have installed, but they are all dim. Edited March 30, 2018 by sqigg
bbiller
I do know NMM has a habit of not installing the ba2 files, or losing the virtual links. Check your mods, see if any have ba2 files and if so, see if those were put where needed.
FopfuMaster
no you do not need CC for mods to work. But be aware that if you install any CC items NMM will no longer work properly. Also you need to start the game via the mod manager not a short cut otherwise it will not load the mods. Make sure you have the current version of F4SE http://f4se.silverlock.org/ and NMM https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases Edited March 31, 2018 by FopfuMaster
Bernt
Also you need to start the game via the mod manager not a short cut otherwise it will not load the mods.I don't think that is correct. I never use NMM for starting my game. I've made a shortcut for F4SE on my desktop and always run my game using that. I've got some 220+ mods installed - mainly- with NMM.
