What do I have to do to get help in this forum?

Seriously this is like the 15th thread I open ( always different problems) and I actually never got help.

Aren't moderators or actually people who have knowledge monitoring this section? I also lurked a bit in other threads to see if Im the only one who gets ignored, but no everybody does, like if no one would know nothing.

Sick and tired, I hope this time someone can help me.

I ask you kindly, does somebody know what causes random CTD's? I get tem all the time and nowadays always in shorter periods of time and this gets really annoying.

I have a lot of mods installed especially thousands of textures but my performance is quite well.

When I open task manager, I see that my skyrim consumes 2,8 gb of memory ( I hjave 8gb)

I'm almost sure that this has to do with my Skyrim.ini file, but I dont know how to fix it.

Random CTDs are almos always a problem with the load order or a mod conflict. Also, making a bashed patch is required when you have a lot of mods.

 

First download BOSS and run it to sort the load order. Then download Wrye Bash and make a bashed patch.

 

That should make your game run better. If the crashing continues, export your load order with Wrye Bash and post it, looking at NMM screenshots is killing me.

Find a spot to make a clean save. Breezehome is usually ok unless you're modding that, too. Release any followers. Make a clean save. Uninstall/Delete mods that are NOT vital to you. BOSS/BASH. Victory.

Ok, you have Beautiful cities and yet you use other mods that change the same cities, that's bound to make problems. Either use Beautiful Cities.esp or these, not both:

The rest should be fine, though using More Craftables.esp and Lost Art of the Blacksmith.esp is not a good idea, at least in my opinion.

I deleted the dock stufff, I dont see why beatiful cities and solitude capital city should kill each other, i mean the second one only adds better lightsources

Seriously that load order is a bit of a muddle, everything that is craftable IE armour, weapons needs to go before your crafting mods like CCO, WAF. Also the crafting load order is Smithing Perks, WAF esp, Waf Hacks esp, and then CCO last out of the 4.

 

I believe i think i saw Lost art of the Blacksmith too which isn't compatible with CCO as far as i can remember and thats just for starters.

 

Download BOSS, run it boss will give you a report and will advise of any conflictions/problems and then study the load order. Look whats going where and anything it doesn't sort take a good guess at it.

I tried this, myself. My ini file didn't even have a Papyrus section, but I just went ahead and added it, and it didn't completely fix my CTDs, but there seems to be a lot less since putting that in. I like. Thank you.

 

Also, I got BOSS, and I don't really know how much of a difference it made, (i'm probably using a third as many mods as TC, if that) but my game does seem to be running a lot better lately. Still a shame about my corrupted save file that screwed my main character, but my new guy is coming along nicely, and the save file has been lingering under 5mb for a while now.
