Linky1 Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Hey all, Im new to the CK but Im going to get straight to the point:In my Necromany overhaul mod its going to add blood magic, and one of these spells damages health on self while taking command of an enemy creature. I cannot figure out how to add both these effects to the same spell, as adding the damage health on self then doesnt let me do anything to anyone else , only myself. eschaeon Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) I imagine someone will have a better answer as I'm mostly new myself, but you could give the Player a hidden, constant effect ability that does health damage whenever your Necro spell is cast (Or any subsequent "blood magic" spell is cast). I think a script tied to the "raise zombie" or whatever blood magic spell used would be much, much easier and simpler. Unfortunately I can't script worth a darn. I suggest posting a request here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/647381-need-a-script-maybe-i-can-help/ This guy helps out people with scripts quite often and this should be an easy one. Did you just try adding an additional effect to the spell? Mmm... If you can't find an existing effect that deals Health damage to Self, create your own. For an example, use the MGEF in this other thread, changing Stamina to Health. Then you could have your spell 'Necromancy' or whatever with effect 1 = Dominate (the MGEF that takes command), and effect 2 = DamageHealthFFSelf 'Health Cost'.
