ltsoma
Ill be playing and when i leave a building the game gets choppy, its like it gets stuck on the autosave. When its autosaving when you leave a house its choppy for a second but then it gets smooth again. I can go back in the house and its fine, the second i go back outside its still choppy. I have to save and close the game, then reload it then it works. Its kinda random. It didn't suddenly start when i installed a mod either.
Rennn
It sounds like a memory leak. You could try getting more RAM or uninstalling an HD texture pack if you use one. Other than that, there's not a lot you can do unless Bethesda patches it.

hellstorm102
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2227329 scroll down to memory limit increase, see if that helps
Rennn
Oh, more RAM won't help in that case. I'm surprised that a full 4GB for Skyrim (all that it's allowed to use) is filling up at a noticeable rate. I only have Skyrim using 2GB, since I have 4GB total and Windows 7 takes 2GB of that for itself, and it takes a few hours before I get that choppiness. Do you have a lot of HD textures, like a 2k overhaul or something? That'd be a large cause. It's not exactly game breaking for me because of the time it takes to become noticeable, but there are probably ways to slow it down. Setting [Particles]iMaxDesired=250 in your Skyrimprefs.ini will probably let you play longer between restarts, unless I misunderstood what the problem is. Does it happen randomly when you leave a building, even if you just started playing, or just after you've been playing for a long time? If it's randomly when you leave a building, it may not be a memory leak, and you can probably disregard my advice so far. If it happens after you've been playing for a couple hours continuously, it may well be a memory leak, and the tweak above could help. ltsoma
@ hellstorm102 - Thanks for that. @ Rennn - I dont have the 2k overhaul or HD DLC, i mostly just have Character mods (Armor ect....). Im using Realistic lighting with customization and dynavision now, semi recently. It always happens when exiting a building, when returning into the building or any building, it stops. So it only happens outside. Yeah it sounds like that memory fix could help, though it hasn't been known to cause conflicts or any problems has it? JoPineapples68
It's something to do with the graphics card, i noticed this too using EVGA precision.....for some reason the GPU sticks at 99% when exiting certain area's. I haven't come up with a fix yet, though the memory one may work. HOWEVER that link to the memory thing is very mis-leading unless i'm mistaken Papyrus is not in the Pref.ini it's in the other one so adding it randomly may cause severe probs. Need to check that out further
